Pain of the Night
What a fearful fight. Pain of the night, What is this, you say. Leftovers of the day, Memories of the past, Hope for futures last. Pain of the night, Deaths play and plight. I fear not deaths play. When is this, you say. Final episode to all, Some will hear a call. Some will have no clue. Some may deny it too. Pain of the night, No place or time to fight. Smell of red, touch of dread. No one escapes, as is said. Pain of the night, Should deliver no fear, right? We are all born to die. We all live to lie. We kill each day, in some way. Name in vain we take, then pray. Honor has been deprived by all. Idols we make then they fall. Pain of the night is dark to see. Upon the morning a new decree, Returning again so trite, So is the pain of the night.
