Sea World
The waters of joy splashed my direction Happiness is coming my way Happiness is coming my way Nothing is in my way Nothing is in my way I walk gaily while people pass me by I’m as shy as the bears in the cave, Huddling close…their brown fir – smooth and beautiful Held together by love…a love so pure, so gentle I tell my shattered soul, “Be brave…be brave…” The waters of joy splashed my direction Happiness is coming my way Happiness is coming my way Nothing is in my way Nothing is in my way Sea World – a place where animals are held in sweet captivity A sugarcoated fantasy, a kid’s klever playground Water me with your consideration, oh Lord…I’m brought low like the ground Below me…I am in the pit; under ground without a sound The waters of joy splashed my direction Happiness is coming my way Happiness is coming my way Nothing is in my way Nothing is in my way Creativity hunts me down as if it is my predator Victim to the sun’s rays, victim to the moon’s greys I brush my teeth to your tune of foolish freshness Can’t stand the distress, I’ll trade you my once-upon-a-time success The waters of joy splashed my direction Happiness is coming my way Happiness is coming my way Nothing is in my way Nothing is in my way Bitter as wormwood, yet sweet as sugar cane, This lady, so kind, so fair, so pretty She isn’t insane – she’s most certainly humane Party, party all night long and bring the confetti The waters of joy splashed my direction Happiness is coming my way Happiness is coming my way Nothing is in my way Nothing is in my way Decorate me with Your truth Looking good like a white tooth Lies hit me hard I’m the quiet bard I keep secrets and I soak in regrets, But I know I have to pay up tons of debts But, why now? Why now? Uplift me with your uncanny ways Don’t act foolish…or fishy…if you know what I mean…I wish…I wish… Someday, I will catch you like a rainbow fish and soak not my anguish The waters of joy splashed my direction Happiness is coming my way Happiness is coming my way Nothing is in my way Nothing is in my way I had a wonderful time at Sea World… Witnessing the mammals, the sea otters, the sea lions, the pink flamingos On rides with my friends…connected to a thousand trends The enchanting ocean-like swimming pool of fish Glance at me and wink at me… The turtles and birds move on with life gleefully Let me type endlessly The waters of joy splashed my direction Happiness is coming my way Happiness is coming my way Nothing is in my way Nothing is in my way Life is a bumpy rollercoaster – an up and down nightmare or dream I scream with high and low self-esteem… I type thoughtlessly I am, honestly, blamelessly Keeping myself comfy in my shell Where does your ecstastic sea dreams dwell? In heaven or hell? I don’t believe we go to heaven or hell… Perhaps, God will have something to show us Because we are all on the same rowdy bus
