Oasis In the Sand
Oasis in the Sand Take time to sit and ponder why tomorrow never comes Why birds and bees, flowers and trees are dying, one by one. To wonder in amazement at the beauty of the earth Then sigh in realisation at what little it’s all worth As man destroys our planet every day throughout the year His greed consuming any chance of us remaining here Like a ticking time bomb the countdown has begun To complete annihilation, all earth’s treasures will be gone Take time to sit and ponder why tomorrow may not come To ask yourself the question ‘Can anything be done?’ To save and to protect what God gave us as our home To turn back time and to undo the damage caused by man To mend and patch and plaster in every way we can To stop us all from losing our Oasis in the Sand.
