Death, You Do Not Win
Death, You Do Not Win The world has been unkind to me yet there's no where, no where to flee. I'll sit and take it if I must for all return to earthly dust. To cry will do no worldly good. Defy with spirit, as I should. A loss that cannot be replaced yet life must once again be faced. So here I sit and wonder how to stop the gloom which eats me now. Can it be slain with greater love or only healed by God above? Once, anger always worked for me but now, this time decides to flee. Yet I seek not its quick return true folly that my Soul shall spurn! Robert J. Lindley, 10-05-2014 Note : Contest Giorgio A. V.
