Why
Loneliness comes without an entrance, and stays to express its purpose. There are only yesterdays, lingering in the disguise of happier times. Illusions of footprints fading away, leaving only darkness melting into despair, where pain dwells without hope or reason. The light once soft and inviting, now hurts the swollen eyes, causing the curtains to be drawn on a life forever changed. Seeking out the darker quarters, trying to forget what can never be forgotten. Dancing with shadows across a floor without end. When will it stop? This sadness playing in my head, moving like ripples across a tear filled pond, where broken flowers fall, alone and dying. Spare me this eternity that started when rain fell and you were gone. And I, sat alone with anguish asking why. contest Lyrics Again
