Are We Safe
Sun darkens, the cloud is gloomy, are we safe? Peace, love and selfless service to man, I crave, But wickedness and wanton killings have gone high, Innocent youths and poor suffer which makes me cry. Human body parts being sold like ram in a cave, Sun darkens ,the cloud is gloomy, are we safe? Fear of being kidnapped or killed set me on fire, This insecurity and phobia I do not desire. I can’t open my windows at night for fright!, Fright of visitors who can make the room darkly bright, Sun darkens, the cloud is gloomy, are we safe?, Bullets and bombs have sent many to the grave. Politics covered with religion in which hatred abound, Safe haven with floral pattern turns to battle ground, Destruction and pain ,differ from the one nature gave, Sun darkens, the cloud is gloomy , are we really safe?.
