The shadow on the left appeared cautious He hesitated each time that he spoke. The shadow on the right was more raucous More overbearing and quick with a joke. Why is it you're always so worried And prevent him from sleeping at night You are going to drive the man crazy Quipped the irreverent one on the right There's a time and a place to be flippant All life's problems can't be solved with a joke I'm not saying there's no place for humor The left shadow took a pause and then spoke. The conversation was not Socratic It more resembled a tv discourse Table pounding and shouting trumped reason I was saddened but remembered the source.
