Midnight, Dark Forces Await
Midnight, Dark Forces Await Daybreak was so very far away night spirits dance and play Energetic little beasts they are masters of pains and deepened scars Midnight, the battle is in full bloom magic , evil powers enlarge the room Dark blades cut deeply into my mind I cry for help but none do I find Wicked minutes go by feeling like hours my heart weakens against such powers Black voices send miseries into my ears ever increasing the torment and fears A female demon tries tempt me into sin no damn escaping this horror I am in Scaly beasts with great piercing horns stabs me as my limbs are swiftly torn Miracle, I manage to hear the coming day more minutes alive I must somehow stay Sunlight races to rescue this crying me angels act, finally hearing my last plea On bended knees I wake wrapped in light grateful to survive another wicked night Tomorrow a repeat awaits my heart's fears as angels collect the desperation tears R.J. Lindley 11/09/1978 This is from very long ago. Another world I once fought in. Before I conquered the beast that sought my destruction. How did I do such a magnificent deed? I asked and begged help from the only Power great enough to grant victory.. Took decades from the stubbornness in me to yield Once yielded, a miracle wrapped me into a saving grace.. Truth, truth in the telling my friends. Dark forces begged, then later demanded my alliance. I fought back but won only when admitting I needed spiritual help.. Help that is there for any person that sincerely asks. This one I had made three copies of and only one survived.
