Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required Once a week, like clockwork McGee goes to the Pub The barman smiles and asks him "What can I get you, Bub" McGee with three fingers up Shouts out "Just three beers" The barman serves them up Nods his head,as he says "Cheer" Every single Sunday McGee buys just three rounds Sits in silent vigil And drinks all of them down Now, the barman got quiet curious Asked, "Why'd you order three One at a time, would keep them cool" He recommended to McGee McGee said "Well, One's for me And those two, for me brothers It's been, thirty years today That we haven't seen each other" So we devised a ritual That ties us like a tether We each go to our local pub To have a pint together The barman, thought that quaint Said, "Then I'll leave you here alone Just holler if you need me" As McGee sipped on the foam The very next week, McGee comes in And sits down on the stool The barman said "Three beers , my friend" McGee replied, "Just two" The barman was in shock As he brought McGee his drinks He watched McGee chug them down As he saw the old man wink "I'm sorry for your loss" Said the barman so sincere "One brother must have passed away, For you ordered, just two beers" McGee let out a sigh, "Oh, is that what you are thinking" Both me brothers are just fine, It's Me, I gave up drinking"
