A truck backed up to my bank, the doors got opened Out come robbers, leading an elephant out of the truck The elephant broke through my plate glass window Stuck his trunk in, and.. and sucked up all the money Then the gang led the elephant back into the truck The robbers closed the door and the truck pulled away” To this sergeant said, “Hm..for identification purpose, Tell me was that an African elephant or Indian elephant?” “How can I tell the difference, sir?” asked the manager. The sergeant said, “The African has big ears, Indian small” The manager said, “The elephant has stocking over his head” As sergeant was about to turn to me, some people rushed in They announced the robbers are caught with the elephant.
