I Did It My Way
Only a few moments of a peek into your beauty, Both my heart and head plunged for the bootie. Emotions, of my heart, I could still keep inside, But my heart beating for you, how could I hide? Life with you, each moment, I felt complete, Sure I did not waste my precious life to deplete. ‘I am breaking up with you’, you said repeatedly to me, You searched your freedom; I lived by your essence in me. I was not, you know, the one to bicker and fight, Clear was my conscious and wished your future bright. I myself broke my heart into pieces infinite, therefore, Left me no cause to plead, before you, anymore. This was my way of doing and taking it upon myself, Your happiness was dearer even if my heart became a delf. Sonnet: 14 lines Contest: I did it my way Sponsor: Shadow Hamilton Date: 13.06.2014
