Lovelorn
Dark is deep despair. Darker is deep love spurned. Blue is the sky, but he still loves you, he doesn’t know why. Green is his heart, since you left him without a word. He will wait for your return, till then his eyes will be red. Days are dreary and nights are fraught. Passion for life has divorced his heart Dreams and nightmares once his company kept. But today they have abandoned him and left . Alone, he tries to romance sleep. She does not respond, even though he weeps. Devastated soul, tormented he lays. Humiliated by spurned love that's flayed. He died a thousand deaths before. But couldn’t cry any more. A million tears trickled down, scarring his cheek. Tormented by visions of past besieged. The marrow in his bones withered in pain. His arteries were almost dry in vain. On the spur of a moment, he shed himself; of all disgrace. From ashes he shall rise; again and regain his space. Reminiscing his high school days. The poems that gave him vision and grace. Fashioned by words that faceted his passion. He moved on to find one. who reciprocates his thirst, for passionate love.
