The Future Calls To Me
As I sit alone, talking to myself I stare at the books upon my shelf. They remind me of what I want to be. And why the future calls to me. I dream big, never small. It's either that or not at all. I stay adamant of what I love. Because i feel like it's a message sent from above. I find peace, whenever my fingers travel through blank pages. I think of what I haven't done in ages. When an idea comes to me, I’m reminded of what I want to be And why the future calls to me. I'm different, not like everyone else that I know. I find joy in writing about what I feel. Even though it may not be real. Even though to some, it may not be a very big deal. Still, I write what I please. And I do this with ease. It reminds me of what I want to be. And why the future calls to me.
