Wave of Solace
Slitting my eyes from a world pining for a refuge where the wave of solace touches hours' depth in celtic notes, I turn into gentle bones fluid and chaste… my illumined flames taste the potion of air while an inner self watches a breath climb tenderly, kindling my womanhood incense, jasmine, and myrrh. Heavy chains jut out from my skin melting like translucent powder where river and sky beg a chime : they inhabit each other, tasting the quietude of mellow stars in an outer world these eyes cannot reach. My cells, my being , my every heave release the kiln of soft fire, as ivory light comes “to flow out across the mother of all waters,” gently tapping my pulse “to lose myself on the black and silky currents”… my hand blossoms in quiet meditation, until I become a white evening woman balancing myself between two pelvic walls. .......................
