But far away they stay for what can harm these birds of prey. Huge beasts made by hand that take off and land. Roaming first on the ground seeking humankind for that is their design. Their bodies are fat and round and inside them, their human cargo can be found. Their wings holding powerful motors are long and thin to lift the precious payload within. Their noses are round and blunt with eyes that can see on the sides, up and in front. But it is their tail that gives them their name whether ground cruising or stopped, it is the same. So if you see a fin or two on the land it should be no surprise for you could deduct and surmise. An airport is where you will be, looking from the inside or out you will see. These fixed wing creatures first lumber then with a mighty roar up in the sky they soar. So next time you're waiting for a flight, look out and see if with me you don't agree.
