Little Birdie Atop World
Told me many things it did see. A twisted life circus performing sadly below; Perched upon this whirling dizzy crazy planet, He said humans were not victims yet the cause. He said it really wasn't a fault of Earth. She is just an innocent bystander providing stage, Hoping the truth will finally spin out with time. Said if she stopped everyone would have to get off. Each and every one kicked out of greatest nest. He said we all need to try and fly free first, Take a look at what is brewing deadly below. Time to soar above it all and wake up. Just look down at the man-made toilet created beneath, Listen to the foul mouth language rejected by sewers. Those poison waters flowing that no animal would drink of; This air that we now see and should fear to breathe. He whispered in my ear too many things for this little poem, To contain it all would fill every volume ever written. Yet will most who read this tiny ditty truly listen and act? I don't think so! © 2014 Robert William Gruhn A.R.R.
