Modern Day Robin Hood
Meet My Robin "Hood" "Hood" being the key word, the man who is a saver of souls lacking passion and adventure, Robin "Hood" swept me off my couch where I had grown roots, eatin' chips n cookies n icecream, Watchin' re-runs of Atlanta housewives and sex in the city, He took me out into his forest, "Hood" full of broken dreams patched up with cash from crack sales, Escalades, and weekend getaways to the Ramada, to do what? Count Cash, Watch His stash, and live like a queen out of a box, To be his outlet for satisfying his desire for something innocent and pure, Untainted by the world in its greed and lust, Only to outpour his greed and lust on me, And He loves me with such passion, the passion most young girls seek after in their first quests for love anew, My Robin "Hood" Loves me entirely, He consumes me, He loves my collard greens and hamhocks, My cornbread and crawfish pots, I love his hair, his smile, his smell, The way he knows how to relax me and make my heart swell, Robin "Hood" has stolen my heart and only my heart can go with him, My mind and body lay limp and distraught still on that checkerboard couch, With the half-eaten bag of chips and a spoon of butter pecan icecream, His scent still lingers here but he is long gone, Off to rob the rich in beauty and innocence, and give it to the poor in moralistic value and quality of life, Although the ride was exhilarating, I got off at the closest stop home, No More robbing me Mr. Robin "Hood".
