Wish
The season of birth came today, (the budding march of May) and it spoke to me by the waters along the stream near my hideaway, creamy dreamy and fair Autumn time and tumbling leaves brings to me, signs of the times and winter time, things gone by; from inside the window panes, I witness the return of spring again All things come to change as if bound and heaven sent; leading star-ward ---- their zenith dreams, In some starry firmament, the scholars and wise and crystal staircases up on high, they venture solemnly though seldom knowing why Give us dreams, give us needs nothing is what it seems; yet, united we esteem of better things and smile from tomorrow brings, things being all the same The season of birth arrived today; dreaming a wanting wish by the waters, along the stream by my hideaway, it said: Wherever you go you are free, wherever you go leads to me, Wish Keith Hunt (c) 2001 Originally appeared in: ' The Writer's Publisher'
