Until We Are Togethere Again
Victor Mason, reminds me of what "Jocobs Well" really stands for. As we thirst and we come to the well to drink, there is one who lowers the bucket into the well, and pulls up the water that quenches our thirst; A faithful and humble servant of God, and so we all have drank at Victors well. When our homes were broken and in need of repair; when the grounds of our yards grow wild with despair; when the locks on our doors no longer protect; when the maintenance of our buildings starts to loose respect. There was always one on whom we could rely. Like a gentle giant, he would reply; With a strong but soft spoken voice, he answered our calls, fixed our homes and repaired our walls. Although it can be said, I knew him well. A personality of love, a disposition of deep peace, he gave us all his best from greatest to least. God bless you Victor Mason, my brother and friend; I remember our last talk you didn't say much, all I felt was love when you motioned for my hand to touch. you being you, strong ready to proceed, I was me, full of drama. your eye's where closed, you reached out your hand you spoke of our child hood friends, called each one by name. I believe they were there with you that day to ensure your journey was smooth along your way. I love you so much..... can't wait until I feel that reassuring hand again. My brother, I know you now keep those pearly gates oiled and opening quite well.
