I promised the moon, the stars, the clouds, the sky, all of them, I promised them I would never stop looking at them, never leave them. But, she looked at them too, and I can’t stand to remember her. I’m sorry my moon, for breaking my promise, because when I look at you, I feel more alone than not. I am sorry my stars, for you are too bright and you just remind me of her, and how she made me feel large, bright, and finitely infinite. I am sorry my clouds; I loved you the most because you have your own kind of self, where you fill up my world and make me feel safe. I am especially sorry my sky, my father, the father I wanted, for I have betrayed your teachings; to always look up, that you are not the limit, that forward is always an option, and backwards is not. I am sorry to all of you for betraying your ways, and I am sorry to her, for not being enough for her, and for me. I am sorry no one loves as much as I do, that people love more than I do, and no one really loves me the way I love them, the way I love you my moon, my stars, my clouds, and my sky. I am truly sorry.
