Breezes Over Bridges
Shortened bridges made her faster, slip-footed and easily tamed. With her skin of alabaster no one knew she felt ashamed. When those certain breezes blew she was caught up in the drift. All her life she really knew what she held was but a gift. Out she went into the sea in her ship searching for love. She just needed to be free feel the breeze fly up above. Loneliness is but an anchor will drag her down if she allows. Fills her soul with darkest rancor- won't go there again she vows. And so her life begins to turn as the winds recede and calm. She has found a lesson to learn; an everlasting soothing balm. Now she knows it's from within; she has found her inner strength. Here's a new way to begin- cross that bridge no matter the length. for contest "Breeze"
