Big Story Bout Lil Joe
Got a big story bout a little guy I know He stood four foot six, and he said I gotta go I gotta go He was a little short but he didn't give a **** he had a cute girlfriend and a pretty nice pickup truck It was a '98 I don't know what the reason was Coulda been the blues or just a bad buzz But he had to go. He drove that 98 down 66, I think it was, hit the desert, went off the road, and he drove For quite some time. Pulled up next to a friendly cactus. Gave it a hug, and, just like everyone else, it strung him through. He said I gotta go, gotta go So he walked and walked, and talked and talked to whatever might be listenin'. Wasn't nobody there. Couldn't find the key, didn't see the door, wasn't sure if he could take much more. Oh, oh, oh he had to go. Why he did what he did is no mystery If you look right through yourself and me You will know Why he had to go
