Troubled
Do you still want me as your wife? Do you really want me in your life? Is all the pain I put you through, And all the things I fail to do Worth the love I hope you feel? Is your love still true and real? Someday, I fear, you'll grow to hate Everything that we thought was great. Will we stop cuddling at night? And start every day with a fight? Will our relationship survive? Is it even still alive? I wish there was something I could do To erase the cruelty I showed to you. I could apologize for the rest of my life, And still be unworthy to be your wife. It means nothing to you when I say sorry, Same old excuses, slightly different story. There's nothing I can do to ease your pain; If you lose me, it's really a gain. But I'll still pray for one more chance, One more kiss, one more glance. I'll leave the choice up to you, Because I just don't know what to do.
