Which one is the right one? If there is no right one, why not create your own and live according to that? If you follow simply because you’re afraid of being branded an outcast by those who’ve been “brainwashed”, YOU’RE NOT EXPERIENCING ANYTHING OF YOUR OWN. It’s easy to critcise the beliefs of others, but if there’s no truth to anyone’s beliefs, you will have lost out on life. These beliefs are general guidelines as to how you should live YOUR life, but does that mean it should dictate it? This is often miscontrued by many and becomes apparent when they try to force it onto others. Word of advice: don’t be judgemental. It’s not your place to do so.
