Sunset
SUNSET Looking at the sun as it sets It’s light suffusing the clouds The day has come to an end The setting sun; setting space for the moon The night is about to take control of the rest of the time Darkness is approaching; the shinny light fading for the night The beginning is coming to an end; bringing everything to conclusion. The sun is yet to set The moon has already made an appearance Is this a dethronement of supremacy? We all wonder What is the rush all about? We sure need a light but nobody asked for a fight Things are getting worse than expected with worst coming unexpectedly Who could imagine the sun setting at a time we need its shine? Born new, now young; getting old Passing every stage of life as the future unfolds There is time for everything; time to die will sure come Nobody is sure of that tale anymore as our young folks are now gone Leaving the old to mourn their young ones; thought it’s the other way round Thought there was procedures; but the processes didn’t wait All is sinking to oblivion; how can the sun set in the morning? Lordvip August,2013.
