A Daughters Final Tribute
Tender kisses all through the night. Your loving arms once held me tight. In my ear words whispered softly. They swept me up when I was falling. The one who brought me back from ruins. You were my world. & I hope u knew it. I miss your warmth.. Your light..your laughter. Now just memories ... To ur final chapter. Your whisper comes down. & blows gently through the breeze. Your strength picks me up... Surrounds me... And no longer am I weak. Mother I still feel you here. Each time that my heart beats. Never gone. Your still here. Watching so kindly over me. From time to time I hear your voice. Or even feel your deep embrace. Watching over in the distance. It is you... Who's come to keep me safe. Oh how I wish you'd come hold my hand. Or while the tear drops from my eyes. For mother I just don't have the strength. I can't tell you good bye. For it was you who was my rock. It was your shoulder I would lean. Now who am I supposed to turn to? This world feels so cold and mean. Still I know... I must be a soldier. In camouflage...I'll fake my lie. Living here in your memories. My make believe helps to get by. And I will not let this world forget u. You'll be on my mind each day. And even though it hurts... We must go our separate ways. Just know my heart is where I'll keep u. My dear and sweetest mother. A mother and daughters love can't die. So we will always have each other.
