Message In a Bottle
As I gaze out over the deep blue sea. The tide is coming towards me. I am distracted by something in the waves. The crashing waves are closer now it is a bottle coming to shore. Depositing it at my feet I picked it up and Inside is a note which says... My words of love are sealed in this bottle sent out among the waves These are the windows of my soul reaching out to the ocean to make me whole. Never to be heard by the one I love. Wishing I could tell him so... So I write these words hoping that someone somewhere may read them. Understanding how I ache to feel his gentle caress. Should this message on the sea never reach land, I would wish for it to be surrounded by nothing but the brilliant blue of an unending ocean. The Ocean brings thoughts of my unremitting thoughts of my love. Though the distance is great his picture is still fresh in my mind. Whether my words are ever shared by another or I am able to look into his bright smiling eyes again, I do not know. Once again to hear his voice washing over me as he tells me his heart is true, would be the perfect answer. Replacing the cap I throw it back out to the sea to carry the words away from me. Much like a bottle I sent so many years ago. It is on its way to him wherever he may go. I walk on for you see he is forever lost to me... Like the sand washing out to sea he is some where but not with me.... Copyright 2000ACB
