Gone Away Again
The willows may weep but they'll never know the sadness I keep wherever I go I hear the whipperwill can sing but not for me on this day love was just an empty thing and you have taken it away will it keep you warm at night knowing what you did will it burn for you like a little light and reveal the lies you hid I doubt it very much after all love is just a silly thing I placed it in your touch and symbolized it by a ring But you had no clue you did not even know that I could never stop loving you and caring for you so but gone away in the day is our love our life together is none I lay here now with the fallen angel dove and have no legs on which to run my body lay broken like the shell it was no love or life left to give they all went away because you had another life to live Gone Away in the night like the suns extinguish'd kiss colder still this pale moonlight as I tell myself only this I loved you once but never more you loved me never and wanted more I gave you this my dying kiss but to qoute the Raven, never more
