The Things I Never Seen
To me it was all his fault, Nothing was ever mine I never listened to a thing he said To me everything was just a whine. He'd do all he could Everything he thought of, Just to get me to smile, Just to get me to love. But I only put him down, Crushed his heart, And all I thought he was doing Was tearing my world apart He held me while I cried, He told me i was pretty, And out of all the low things I could have done It was me I wanted him to take pity. He listened to all my stories He's done nothing but care and all I've done was hurt him Wherever I was there I never noticed the things he had done I never paid attention And whenever he tried to make me see, I only gave him tension. I thought I loved him more I thought he was only cruel But really he was none of that I was the selfish fool Who throw away love for just myself who only wanted to be the nasty queen But i hope that there's another girl out there, one that could see The things I never seen
