That Very Moment
I watched her board that airplane, And I waved goodbye with a smile, She has not been gone for a moment, But I'm missing her already, And the 3 words she whispers in my ear, Right before she says I love you dear.. Now shes been gone for to long, But somehow I keep her here, I still remember the phone call, I was sound asleep in our bed, And I still remember hearing, Those hellish words she said.. That very moment is when I died, When a part of me dropped dead, That's when I lost all comprehension, That's when I lost my head.. This position I promised, I would never be in again, Love is a myth now, Don't even try, Because trust is not allowed.. Ten years on, And I say; I have failed, To uphold all your ideals, And my fears to control, Or keep myself, From heading for the cell. Death my call is welcome, Theres no surprise for me, Satan you can never cage me, Because my friend, Oh satan my friend, Im not even free.
