Questioning Love
Please tell me what I ever did To always make you flip your lid Pushing me right out the door You couldn't take it anymore I would like an explanation All my love and dedication I kept saving up for you Proving that my love was true As the days and weeks went by There was something in your eyes That kept saying silently You no longer cared for me So I doubled up the love Extra kisses-- Tighter hugs More touching -- Lots of caressing But your eyes kept me distressing No more sparkles glowing bright The darkness took away a light That I used to see each morning All my thoughts are now just swarming About the way your angry grip Ended our relationship Saying never come back here A mean voice and not one tear Showing one bit of remorse Of the love that you just lost
