Our daughter and her husband went to court today for a hearing about guardianship of Karter.. The judge ruled in their(our daughter and husband) favor with them getting permanent guardianship until he(Karter) is 18 years old..The parents(biological parents) parental rights were not revoked and they were given orders by the court on items to get accomplished if they want to regain custody of Karter..They(the biological parents) will have a year to do that and in one year if they have not done what they are suppose to do then they(biological parents) will lose parental rights. Then our daughter and her husband can petition the court to adopt Karter.. I kept Karter today for them to go to court..He is a little handful but we love him.. Sara
