My mom walked into my room to draw the shade up, I told her that I didn't want the shade drawn up. I told her to leave. After she had left, I looked back to where the shade remained down. By itself the shade was drawn up. Outside my window there was a tree that had not been there before, the tree was black. I saw my white hand, my arm entwined with the arms of the dead, black tree.
