Crossed
There is a fine line It's many crossed Doesn't matter who you are. Give and take That's how it should be When given the chance To prove worthy When given They just take take take. The cycle ends there. What we don't see The cycle spinning Those giving Those taking But those who give get in return And those who take give in return. For many The attention has to be on them. Always what they need, want, have. Never what could be given back. It's a line ignored Sometimes abused A line most refuse to walk. Every day more and more Cross over the line Every day more and more Less unfortunate suffer the consequence. When will this line become whole again When will people open their hearts To more then themselves When will respect for people Be given back to everyone and not the few. Some wish when will soon come But no matter what There is a fine line It's many crossed Doesn't matter who you are.
