Depression's Snare
Yearning for life’s bonds to set me free Wishing for release from this internal agony Praying for strength to concur these voices in my mind Hope the ache in my heart subside to bring peace of some kind Somehow knowing I must force myself to move on Yearning for sleep to overtake thought before dawn Knowing some choices are not for me to decide Holding to principles yet feeling a loss of pride Life must in time move from this loneliness Can there be some release from this distress Reaching understanding a blessed touch Making it through depressions clutch This is alittle strange I guess. Sometimes I think it is good to know you can get through this type of thing. This battle has caused a loved one to come close to the edge. However for now she is doing well. She learned to fight and win.
