The Midnight Hour
The Midnight Hour is close at hand. I stand with 6 others in the sand. One's a man the other women. We all stand close together just a trembling. We all best be remembering that we must stay awake. Our life's are at sake. But we didn't make it we all fell asleep. In the morning only 5 of us remain. I bet whoever is doing this think it's some game. The worst part is we have no choice but to play. Another night comes another one of us gone. Only 4 left now. I want to go home, but I can't call no one cause there is no phone. We are along now 4 soon to be 3 I pray and hope they wont get me. In the morning we see they took our only man. 3 of us stand now but come tomorrow there will only be 2. I wonder who is taking our crew each day to prey upon us a wolf does a sheep? The sun sets and it's time for us to go to sleep, we try to fight it but in it creeps. As we sleep we are unaware that number 3 is no longer there. As we awake we see our doom...now there are only 2. Who will go first? Who will survive the next morning? I found out as I opened my eyes. The day went by slowly but the night came at last. There is only me now no one else is left. I've done my best but the end has come it will do me no good to run...their coming to get me and take me away. I don't have much time the Midnight Hour is close at hand.
