To Be a Father
I want to be a fathe I want to rub and kiss Your bell I want to be there for that first ultra sound To be there to witness the miracle of birth I want to be there when my son Takes his first breath I want to change his first diaper with a stupid smile on my face I want to document his first laugh and his first tears I want to hold him to the sky And scream his name to the world to hear I want to see his 1st steps and his backpack for that 1st day of school I want to take him on his 1st date and watch him woe the lady's I want to witness his entrance to university and save pictures of his graduation in my heart I want to wipe his tears After that 1st serious heartbreak I want to be the parent and best man at his wedding And before i die and close my eyes forever I want his face to be the last that i see!!!
