Man Died
Last night a man died, There wasnt any blood spilled, Or sign of wounds unhealed, Or miffled screams of horror, Or any noise of struggle, loud and coarser, Just a face which was deeply mortified, Just a corpse mumified, To bury in darkness, Last night a man died, Some say it was a sad accident, At a wrong time, wrong place,he arrived To witness scene indecent, His wife pulling her lover in with carnal lust, And the man conquerring her with his Unquenchable thirst, Last night a man died, Some say it was a suicide, The rope had fell around his neck, When he was seduced by her chaste peck On his nervous lips, And it tightened slowly, eventually, As her adulterous hand rips clothes of her clandestine lovers, Last night a man died, Some say he was cruelly murdered, His trust with disdain shattered, The weapon was forged in cheap hotel rooms, And he paid price with his doom, Of one mistake he commited as such, To love and trust too much, One day his teary eyes would have dried, But there sadness would still tell, About the broken pride, And about hatred which with passing day, swells, Anguish would still whisper, About a heartless unchastened bride, And a man who, one night died, And a man who, one night died,
