Words
Words, So many that I want to write, but I'm stuck staring at this blank screen. My mind puts up a fight as the words pound loudly in my head. I try to type but my fingers are stuck. A story stuck on my tongue silenced into my soul. Is it worth to tell. Frustration chews me upside down. I wish for a steady flow to release the words. Instead they cling to me and I choke on this regret everyday. I'm scared that I have nothing to prove when I always feel as I have nothing to lose. It's time to get out of this darkness to take a stand. Maybe no one understands the fear it runs deep. To the point I can't sleep evading my dreams. Because this was my dream to write. To show the world my emotions through my words. Now they hide. I try to coax them out to find the light. Only the numbness answers when I visit them. Each day little by little they line up, ready to take the dare. So I dare.
