The Pain-Joy Sandwich
Let this cup pass me by That is what they cry aloud In that turbulent state The wall tearing apart You will almost want to cry There is this urgency The hand must move with care Sweet words are needed here Sometimes some hard words fly As energy is been dispensed There is need to calm the nerve Energy is needed Strange words are getting out "I won't do this again If you see me through this" As though it will never end The walls have been torn apart A force has been dispensed A blessing comes through the wall A victory cry is heard. The nerves have now been calmed There is laughter in the air As if it wasn't a while ago That we heard that loud cry "Let this cup pass me by" Out of the moon again There is thought about another one.
