Our Heart
To taste the salt of your tears that course down your face My lips kiss them away and now they leave no trace To feel your heart in sync with mine like a metronome As they beat together you know you are home. My love for you grows even though we’re apart You know your two hands caress one half of our heart. To wash away all fears and doubts this I would do The script is already written with parts for just two The words are all scribed the paper is now full There can be no erasing though heart strings do pull To lean on your chest with arms holding me so tight You, the dawn and the sun, and the stars shining bright Life is difficult our paths mapped out long ago In warmth and love seeds of hope a new path can grow © Mandy Tams ~GG~29/04/2013
