Lust
I made a wish upon a star and I wished to be where ever you are. I had a dream of you last night but woke only to see the early morning light. I wonder if you think of me or if this is just my fantasy. I find it hard not to feel for you and I wonder if maybe you feel it too. My heart skips a beat when I look in your eyes and my feelings for you come by surprise. I can’t explain why I feel this way but I know I would still like to see you one day. As hard as I try not to think of you, it just happens to be one of the things I do. Thinking of you and thinking of me, wondering where our lives could be. I felt for you long ago that day, it’s weird to me I still feel that way. Who would’ve thought I could cry real tears then end up seeing you after all these years? I’ve thought about you from time to time but never thought my world would change at the drop of a dime. I hoped one day to see you, but never imagined it could be us two. Here we share our deepest thoughts remembering the loves we lost. If losing one meant finding me, would you give it a chance to see where we could be? The future is my destiny, for that is where I want to be. By Chandelle Bird
