Forever Sleep
Darkness enfolds me as I go to sleep, My escape from the obnoxious you! As I drift off to sleep forever; I think of what has been; What could have been? Could I have done it any different? I’ve tried and tried till my heart just died. It was laid to rest with the rest of my life! Gone from you, gone out of your life! There will no tear be shed over the gone me; I suppose your heart will be filled with glee! I really truly loved you! But got nothing in return; A cold shoulder, a stare and a glare… You left my soul feeling just bare! You tore my heart in a million pieces; Leaving me lonely, desolate and lost! But me, I am now going to sleep; I am leaving you behind! I have found peace in my heart; Said my goodbyes and I’m drifting off to sleep. Sleep enfold me, please just set me free
