Each day that passes by seems to run into the next; a book already written... I cannot change the text ! My life is in fast forward, and move ahead, I must ! Yet, I don't feel much like seeing my youth left in the dust ! I hang on to memories, more precious to me than gold... they help me to forget the pains of growing old ! A mountain stood before me the day that I was born ! Now it grows much shorter with the dawning of each morn. I am at that awkward stage... spring in my step is waning but I haven't reached the top; there's still some time remaining... I am closer to the peak than I ever was before; still I am not ready to push that final door ! Now as the days move on, I urge myself to see that inside the wrapper, exists the girl I used to be !
