Unchangeable Love
To you my sweet petite Eileen Whose lover and friend I’ve always been My love for you has always been Maybe a dream but an unchangeable dream Yesterday’s problems may never go away But hopefully todays, will always be okay To miss your sweet smile You’re loving tender ways Perhaps I’ll never again gaze Whilst looking through the haze I love you in the morning I love you in the night So please let’s get together To make everything all right The one and only love I knew Is gone and wasted just like the dew But hopefully with tomorrow’s fresh dew Will bring us back together all anew Your love is like a beacon shining ever so bright Spreading your love through day and all night So why then can’t we make it all right? Phone calls are expensive As any one will know My telephone bill’s on the table Ask Cable Tel they’ll tell you they know To be together again once more Is at it should have always been So why not let us try yet again Our debts will be halved; our hearts will be joined So what the heck, why not give it a go again?
