Now, Where Are You
NOW, WHERE ARE YOU At the first encounter No—one was really in sight, Except the tall dimly lit lamp post, Bent to our warm conversation And moths whose wings were never still. But now where are you, Are really lonely, Or has somebody taken the place of me? The crying of two soul bodies, The chilly creepy sensation, The look into eyes searchingly, And the highlights in your hair caught light. But now, where are you, Are you really lonely, Or has somebody taken the place of me! The pattering of the rain on the leaves, The chirping of locusts, The singing of birds, And our hands that were never still. But now, where are you, Are you really lonely, Or has somebody taken the place of me? The wind there whistled, The humming under breath, The reaching of the feeling, The soft whisper in the dark, The giggling and giggling endlessly. But now, where are you, Are you really lonely, Or has somebody taken the place of me? After that long and winding road, Bound by the invisible golden thread, Having walked the lonely parks, Planned for the future in the dark, Where are you, Are you lonely, Or has somebody taken the place of me?
