Times like these, are when I must step forward. My voice... a whisper within my mind. Some days, when all seems lonely; I tell myself, stay busy; all will be well. When the sky grows dim, and I'm in bed; I whisper a prayer, to keep me safe in slumber. My voice... gentle words of kindness, for someone who's been suffering. At times of sorrow, hurt, and grief; I tell them to remember only good times; and soon fear's erased away. I ask of them, to close their eyes; imagine themselves in paradise. My voice... an echo throughout our land. For those who are blind; for those who are deaf. I am their eyes and ears. For those who can't walk; for those who can't speak. I am their feet and mouth.
