People smiling without showing teeth words coming out without meaning ears open but not listening interested not really caring I thought... There were others in clothes made of tatters teeth the color not pretty holes in shoes too small hair a mess, makeup gone I saw... People not smiling, not even a grin mouths closed with no words to tell others being ignored because of their chagrin passer buyers not even a glance I thought... What has happened? Don’t we care?
