Pen and Paper
Pen and paper It’s along road to travel Before I can reach back home It’s easy to get lost When you are out here alone But it’s not the mile you go It’s the way that you live It’s the love that you found And the love that you give Being alone on the highway The loneliness becomes your friend So that roads that you travel Can never seems to end And you are trying to reach But you don’t know where So you life become a motion In a world where no one care She said she know my passion For writing my poems Trust her with my heart And there will be no problems But it seems my life was curse And I find peace in my pen So while I write my stories Our love come to and end She was the best friend I had But now she don’t talk to me Because all this stupid poems Will not set my mind free I could not be devoted to her As long as I got the ideas to write Many times she slept alone While I work whole night So she said good bye one night While we were in central park Underneath a hanging lantern My life fades in to the dark I never told her how I feel That how I love her so Because of the pen and paper I just let her leave and go So I went for a long drive And I just keep going And just like a river My pen will keep on flowing
