Snow Days of a Winter Storm - Weather Forecast
"Bundle up folks if you need to come out, It's going to be a rough one...at least snow for a few more days!"The weather man boasted. The weather report was all over the television And radio...We haven't had this much snow since the winter of 2010."was repeated, it seemed, every twenty minutes. On and on it snowed but what did I care. The first day it snowed, I stayed in bed and covered my head. The second day, the wind howled and the snow was deep...I peered out my window and on the pane, I drew hearts and wrote your name again and again. I watched as it trickled away in a vapor trail like lost tears. On the third day, the snow settled into a quiet sleep, Oh so beautiful..a picture book painting of white wonder. The weather report encouraged everyone to be patient, the snow plows would soon be in the out-lying nighborhoods. Finally some good news, I thought. On the fourth day, I went ouside and made snow angels so you would know, when you passed by, I still knew how to be happy!
